try this next time:

- wash
- dry
- clay bar
- cleanse the paint
- remove bugs and tar stains
- wash again
- Detail trims etc
- seal the paint (Autoglym extra gloss)
- carnauba wax

job done, a lot of people seem to seal the paint "after" waxing whereas i like to do it on fresh uncontaminated paint and then top it off with a wax.

Car looks good, but the products you are using are the limiting factor. If you want maximum wetness you will need to acquire better products. Technique works to a point, but the chemistry of the products is what dictates the final look. If you want wet, have a look at our Blackfire range - I've posted a fair number of example threads of this finish if you look back, and a few members on here are about to post their first results with it, so have a look and see what you reckon. :)
