Gone off lager recently, used to be fosters or Stella usually. Liking cider more now, except strongbow, drank it warm once and now the smell of it makes me feel sick!

I like a proper vodka and a proper whiskey too. Don't drink very often at all nowadays though.

Whilst on holiday, Me and my mates learnt it still gives you that crazy buzz for an hour like it did when we were kids before it got banned... so decided to mix it with vodka :D. Its amazing!

You can buy it in Tesco but it doesn't seem to make you go as mental as the foreign version. Also try it with Dissarano or Southern comfort.

Guessing you've only tried shit vodka? Try some nice vodka (russian standard is about the best in supermarkets). Pop it in the freezer for a few hours/days/weeks lol and drink neat from a frozen/chilled glass. Really nice.

There is worse out there but I honestly rate Smirnoff red above GG, the quality of the product does not reflect the price with GG, hence well marketed shite aimed at people who buy drinks as a status symbol rather than as a nice tipple.

One of the nicest supermarket vodkas is the Smirnoff Copper Still with the black label, just leave it in the freezer for a few hours minimum before drinking, my vodka lives in the freezer and is only removed for pouring lol.

Although Balkans is very very nice despite the 88%abv, it's very drinkable neat from the freezer.

See if im drinking vodka and cranberry then goose has a much smoother taste than red.

I gre up on different types of smirnoff though as it was £15 or wtf it is for a big bottle of the cheap and about 25 for black/blue iirc.

Try Skittles in your vodka or get a melon, put a hole in one area through to the middle (I use an apple corer) and pour your vodka of choice in and let it soak in till the melon is saturated, then cut and eat. I find the melon is good at partys.

Mars bar vodka, now your talking! We make lemon vodka cake at work and the measuring technique for the vodka is to just pour it into the mix till it smells strong enough to send your eyes a bit funny hahaha

Yeah I never got the appeal with Jagerbombs at all! I bought a bottle of jäger and some red bull. Drank the red bull at work and the jäger neat lol.

And cranberry? Stuff in the cartons at asda? Might try that later.

Theres a certain brand which has a better after taste, ill try and remember, it depends on whats on the riders in venues.
