Car's going to be used on track so most changes will be suited to that. Yeah rear lights will be changed :)

Yeah it is. Its pretty tidy. Will give her a good detail and service soon :)

I have no need for the seats to be honest. Standard VTS seats are nice and I have my Sparco Rev to go in for track days
Very nice dude
Thanks. Most of the work is credit to Jamie

Yeah just hope it's in the same condition as I sold it in. We shall see. My dad wouldn't be to happy with a VTS, a VTR and my clio 197 on the drive aswell haha

I had a 172 Cup and a Saxo VTR on my driveway once. Looked pretty cool :P
I do think Icelandic grey is the best colour. Got this car until April 2013 now so I may just stick with the Spax kit as it seems pretty good

:sweetheart: needs a detail by the looks of her,
Treat her well dude and she will look after you, never had a single issue with her. :)
Tbh I've been quietly bitter about selling it for quite some time now as you know and had I have known she would have ended up off the site with numerous owners I'd have kept it. So I'm glad you have ended up with it as I know you're in to detailing and will treat her well :) (bar tracking cringe lol!)
I think them seats are alright if I'm honest not my first choice but they aren't bad looking and are certainly going to be more supportive than the VTS seats dude!
You have quite a few plans, forgetting my bias as the stuff was all my first choice it does generally seem a waste of time switching things around for little to no gains unless you have it laying around.
Anywhoo good luck with her, she's a beaut! I can't speak for what the last set of owners have done to her but under my ownership she was treated like a queen!

Yeah got some of the stuff here that was going to be on the VTR I had. Just want it to be more my own in some ways!
Big detail is on the cards next week :) with a couple new products such as Iron-X and a new CG wooly mammouth towel. May make a detailing thread for it.
Then a good service!
I don't really drive fast on the roads mate so VTS seats will be better for me and maybe make a bit of money on the Boss recliners. Got my Sparco Rev and Sabelt 3" harness for track days.
Its on 73k miles now so its not so bad being tracked :P I'm pretty smooth anyway....mostly. lol

Seems alright. Not had chance to give it a proper drive yet. Just the drive home from Wales. Used a tank of fuel though already. 356 miles and the light came on :\
Yeah I followed both on here and on PT but ack then insurance on a VTS was a big no no :(
Will try and get it back to, as close as I can, the condition it was with Jamie

Definitely wasn't by me, was only on for around 4-6k and was still blue? iirc, last for sale thread I can find for it by me was at 57k, so it's done a load of miles since then doubt it will make that much difference though in terms of running unless it was in a real bad state lol but every little helps... :)
Should have got a before and after pic.

Yeah was black! And had half the welsh countryside in there too. She's bright blue now :) power delivery is noticeably smoother

Thanks it will be cleaner soon :) Rust? What rust? :P no rust there. Just a smidge of surface in the chassis leg in the bay which is being sorted asap.

Nah I'l just put a pair of VTS seats in. As above, I have my Sparco Rev for track days
Now looking for a new racing wheel. OMP or Sparco

Those other seats are now sold. Would be on the lookout for vtr or vts seats front and rear.

Finally got the locking wheel bolts out. Had 2 problems with these:
1. Previous owner had lost the key for them (Mcguard ones too :( )
2. The previous owner did them up ridiculously tight wish is always a big no no with any locking wheel nuts.
Anyway used my skills to get them off without causing any damage to the sexy Pro Race 1.2s :)
So tomorrow I can get the wheels cleaned inside and out, plus give the wheel arches a good clean also. Will do the underside too. How I love G101 :)

G101 did wonders on my VTS's arches. Before and after pictures in my thread. Great stuff.
Shame about the locking wheel nut. I need to get a set to fit some R wheels to the S.

To be honest with my old VTR I bought it cheap and it was filthy, although I saw its potential behind all the dirt and grease.
5:1 mixture on underside, engine bay, arches etc and agitated with various different brushes, came up wonders!

Yeah he did :) was a real minter when he had it. Not so much the previous owner. Found most nuts and bolts have been over tightened so I'm in the middle of checking and torquing up everything properly. Tedious.

Had a cleaning session today. It had been left a while so bugs and brake dust had built up. Plus it was used on muddy B roads when it rained.
I had the arches, underside, engine bay, wheels, callipers etc cleaned and degreased before the car itself was cleaned, polished and sealed.
Now for some before pictures...

I have a strong feeling he's talking bollocks tbh, signed right out aswell.
If it went through an insurance company, it would be written off.

Car was off the road for 6 months being repaired, ye that's obvious that it would be written off, working for admiral got me a nice discount off repair price, you may notice a knocking when u hit a bump from front Aswell possible drop links.. Abs doesn't work either, n since your such a fanatic you may wanna c why all the lights are illuminated on the instrument panel
From what i've read, you haven't really looked after the car after you bought it from jamie?
Anyway, keep up the good work harry, looking like its good standard from when jamie had it :y:

I'm a fully qualified mechanic. Yes on test drive there was knocking from the front, and yes I knew what the knocking was. After torquing up the steering rack bolts hey presto, no knocking and a solid front end! :)
Springs were mounted wrong way round on one side which I told Jamie about, again problem solved.
ABS works fine! Agian that was tested on test drive and was tested the other day! But that's going to be removed in the near future anyway as it's better without for track use.
And there's no lights illuminated?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If it had been hit then you cannot tell. Must've been about 1mph....car is in my ownership and things have been removed, cleaned and lubricated :) its all sweet, running sweet, looks sweet, sounds sweet and goes like stink! I'm a happy chappy :)

There's nothing much else to say, he doesn't know the condition it's in now :) with a little know how things can be fixed and made better!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On another note I have some stainless steel fixings for a few pieces, 266mm brake set up which has gone on today with braided lines, snow foam lance for my new Nilfisk pressure washer and some more updates to come! :)

Engine management will be for the decat
Airbag is from the seats I use

Why are you a cunt and why did you attempt to ruin the car..,
I'm guessing the guy I sold it to, sold it to you, he didn't have it long enough to have all these issues.
I call bullshit too. Your just bitter and weird.

I'm really happy with the car. Its a fast road/track car to me and its perfectly fine for my needs :) Hi Chads, not spoken in a while!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Whats going on here?
http://i1046.photobucket.com/albums/b462/harry28991/P1010099.jpg
266mm set up currently going on with braided lines. Oh and Brembo discs and pads for the rear. I did order mintex pads for the rear but KamRacing didn't have them in stock so they sent the more expensive Brembo pads for no extra charge.

I have that line on my inner plastic arch too! >far right. at first i thought something collapsed causing the wheel to scrub on the arch lol. Must be normal.
Btw those braided lines - are they the same as the normal saxo braided lines to oe calipers (if you get me).

Yeah its just the 15 inch 50 profile tyres lowered 40mm on full lock. They haven't scrubbed with my driving the car though :)
And no you need to get some braided lines off swampy on here made :)

Prev owner must of ran 50s at somepoint then before he put the 45s on it. Douche! (on about mine btw lol).
Ah swampy! bit risky after reading his thread! :panic: they do look good though. Any other pics?

After reading peoples issues they've had with him in it. Must be a hit and miss thing i suppose.
Whats the exact size so i can note it for future ref?
Cheers. :A:

I'm unsure the exact size. Might be best to PM Swampy about them. I think he gets them made by exact and then send to him then posted to whoever.
Wish I could be more of help
