Afternoon All,

With little time to catch there breath from last weekend, the F1 teams head over to hungary for the 2012 Hungarian Grand Prix.

Compared by some as Monaco without the barriers the Hungaroring Circuit is tight with few opportunities for overtaking and more often then not it's won by the pole sitter. Have been some good races here usually brought on by the changing weather conditions.

Hope the pace the Mclaren showed last weekend will come good this weekend but looks like its going to be tight at the front. Who's got your backing for the win this weekend ?

P.S Sorry for short thread this week, posting on iPhone for first time.

A somewhat straight forward race in the end I think, good overall drive from Hamilton to take the win from pole. Wish Kimi could have put him under more pressure though, the Lotus seems to be lacking something, maybe with the upgrades coming for Spa they will get the edge they need to get a win.

Thought it was a very good weekend for Senna who qualified well and finished 8th in front of a few good cars. Also think that Mclaren dropped the ball with Button, could have had a podium had he not been dropped into traffic after his pit stops.

F1 takes a summer break now before we head over to Spa on the 2nd September (same day my first child is due), see what the teams come up with in that time to upgrade there cars.

McLaren called a bluff 4-5 laps too soon IMO with JBs pit stop.

I reckon if he'd have stuck at it he'd have been on the podium

Grosjean is amazing! Matching Hamilton for the most part... Lotus need that win and it won't be long at this rate!

Lotus will win, but it will be kimmi who does it for them! The gap he pulled out infront, to come out side by side with Grosjean, then the pace he left him behind, to catch Hamilton, was simply amazing!
Such a good driver!

Yes was good to see Lotus letting them race each other like that, even the race engineer for Kimi was telling him to get on the KERS as he exited the pit to try and get infront of Grosjean.

Must say I've been very impressed with both Lotus drivers so far this season, no one knew how Kimi would do coming back I dont think after his first F1 experience people expected much from Grosjean but they are both driving excellently.

Awesome when you hear about him behind the scenes though, been at a drivers dinner, and been that drunk he is laid on the floor.. Before his 1st ever race in F1, he was asleep 15 minutes before they went on the grid..

Awesome driver, he just hates interviews, says they always ask the same thing, and he is bored of explaining blatant stuff

"So kimi, it looked like you got on the power early in the corner, got on the inside, and earned 2nd place, in your words, what happened".. "you just told me."

Comes with the role does it not? people are going to want to hear what a driver has to say about different things, i like hearing all the different drivers what they got to say etc

You can see the difference experience and good tyres make when Kimi pulls away right up to Hamilton

That was pretty funny, forgort about that.

Think this was probably one of the reasons why Kimi didn't go down too well at Ferrari, they like the Schumacher type who is good with media etc.

Anyone seen the countdown of the top 20 F1 drivers of all time thats happening on the BBC website at the moment ? Upto number 10 now and the list is currently as follows:

Each has a video done with Murray Walker, worth watching if you have a spare moment.
