Basically I'm self employed during the day doing vehicle air con, I now however am going to a final interview to work for virgin media in the call centre, just for guaranteed money so I can move out.
Does anybody know how or what the taxing situation will be??
Had a look on the direct gov site but couldn't see much on the matter thanks

You carry on as normal and there is a section on your tax return for money earned whilst in employment. The details you need will be on your P60 which you get at the end of the year from your employer. They will use, or should use, a standard tax code to deduct tax from you and will pay your PAYE/NI on your behalf.

I worked at Virgin for a year and a half when one of their call centres was in Middlesbrough... It was terrible then and I can't imagine it is much better now.
If your accountant does your tax return then all you'll need to do is give him/her your P60 along with your other records and they should know what to do with it.

I'm assuming his tax code wouldn't change anyway, if he is working full time self employed, then goes to another full time job, he won't be able to do both at the same time.. Obviously can do the air con stuff on the side, just take cash ;)

What MP was blasting everyone saying it's morally wrong taking cash?

Its 6-10 at night, plus most of my work is for big companies who pay by bacs so cash is out of the question.
