i got my car yesterday on the way back it was driving lovely then my dials all go of then engine cut for like a sec then came bk but dials stayed off but the battire was flat an my mate jump it the it started but on the battrie it show black i now it need recharge but is that y my dials stop or is it an earth problem

Leave the battery disconnected over night mate.

check the earth point in the passenger footwell its to the left of the bonnet telease youw have to pull the carpet away there a plastic 10mm bolt holding the carpet

yer i hoping that i think where the battie flat and i think mit have a earth problem but hay 250 pounds anit bad i would upload a pic but it would not let on here or i dnt now how it vtr but the one things it 1.6 8v but it 135mph some how coz where leve the a 3 mile straight road it bin lowered coil overs and strut and uprated 4 pot and pads an disc but no mot or tax lol
and all so how can i get a manfold for it the one with the cat on manfold coz i dnt now if it bin camed or not coz i am going to be workinf on it tuesday i take pic an show part ounder engine and when u give loads it backfired down the throttle is that ok or is that coz it has an uprated fuel pump and reg an lines
