Possibly the oddest thing I've ever posted on a forum but has anyone used a group 1 baby seat in their saxo?
My car is very much the second one in our house by everywhere I go pulls a face when they try and work out what will fit...
Thanks for any info!

duct tape. it can hold a man to a ceiling, it can hold a baby in a car.

Best bet is to go to a N-CAP approved garage and get them to fit isofix bars. make sure they are approved and can show you there certificate. then any isofix seat can be fitted. some cars need it welding in as a kit and some all you need to do is cut the material and slide the isofic fitting into the seat. The garage i use to work at did the fitting its a real money earner..

Sorted! I'll duct tape her to roof!
Thanks for the recall suggestion - ill have a look.
I am only too aware that the saxo is no tank in a crash but it's a case of me not really having a spare few grand to get something else. She is probably only in the thing once or twice a month

What was the name of the garage? Just seen you're quite local!

We've got the recaro young expert plus.
It's got isofix for the main car, but fits in a saxo with the seatbelt fine :)
Absolutely love it, the quality is far better than a lot of seats friends have, and my little one always looks so comfy. Well worth the price :)

Mothercare and some other place refused to sell me a car seat before because they dont fit correctly in Saxo's, something to do with the seatbelt buckle being long or something?

We had the Recaro Young Sport one in my saxo for a while. Can't remember the make of our other baby seat.
