Hey guys so I was looking on kam racing and found apex lowering kits for what looks like a good price for springs and shocks (around £200) but I was wondering if they're any good for the price? Considering I'm a student..... :') also is it better going -35 or -50?
Cheers

go 50mm
you'll only wish you went lower at 35mm as it isnt much of a difference over standard

Well i went 50 but really wish i had went for 35 so bought new springs....
But both setups are really great nice and stiff without beeing to uncomfy. I just thought i was a little bit to low at 50. Looked great but wasnt really that great for speed bumps.

I'd say go for 50mm too, perfect height for a saxo imo. The Apex kits are a great budget kit.

as long as you slow down for them, i cant see how you would scrape them :S

na all my road is concrete expect from the end cause the gypo people who live on the end would not pay for concrete so to get out my road i have to go over it and my spliter scrapes and some times bottom of the car

Well depends on how bad the speed bumps are... Some of them even if you go in snail paste and at an angle I still scrape a little... But it also depends on your exhaust, i have magnex centerpipe with silencer. If it was without silencer i wouldnt have any problems...

i guess it depends on your exhaust, but it if its hanging too low then there may be a problem with it.
My cars at 90mm and only scrapes the occasional speed bump
i remember back when it was 60mm front 70 rear, barely touched anything

if you go 60mm what do you need to change?

you can change just springs, but its better to change the shocks too
