Is it possible to bolt a bucket seat to a standard seat rail?

Surely for the sake of £40-50 it would be better and safer to buy a proper subframe for the seat.
Remember that seat and seatbelt combination is what prevents you from getting a serious injury in a crash so surely not worth budging something when it could potentially end up causing your death or serious injury.
You can bodge somethings on a Saxo but I don't think a seat/subframe should be one of them. Just my 2 pence worth.

Yes you can bolt the harness directly to the floor behind the drivers seat so people could still get in the back

I wouldn't advise bolting to the floor behind the seat. Harnesses are meant to sit at a certain angle and having them bolted to the rear seatbelt points is about as low as you should go!

This tbh, ideally not even at the rear seatbelt points but thats a sort of happy medium if you don't run a cage etc.

Check the bluebook on the msa website. I know you don't have to comply with it unless its a rally car, but they don't just make up the rules for the fun of it. These french hatches are uber shite in a crash anyway, let alone if you've bodged the safety features that you do have.
