I sooo wanna go 13" or 14" wheels with thin as possible tyres, and totally slam it 60/80mm
Car is purely for looks, cruising about.
Its a mark 2 VTR.
Silver, colour coded, dimma grill, debadged, delocked, smoothed boot, tints etc...
So reckon so Small Deep Dish rims would look trick?
if so, black centres with silver dish, or all silver, or all chrome?
thanks

Btw... there arent a lot of choices with deep dish wheels for the Saxo because of the stupid PCD. 4x100 is where it's at :-)
Slamming the car 80mm on 13's/14's is going to give you a VERY VERY hard ride. I'd suggest you to NOT take the car out on a road that has small pot holes.
To smooth and colour code the existing kit is going to set you back a lot of money. It would prob work out cheaper to buy a Euro kit and have that sprayed and fitted. Reduces the chances of the kit cracking too.
To go Euro... be prepared to spend a lot of money.

You gotta go the distance otherwise it'll look half arsed, get smoothing ;)

I think a good start would be lowering it and fitting some 14 or 15" wheels. I quite fancy getting some 15x8 schmidt Modernlines or Reveloution Rfx's(the same wheel) and I'm lowering it 60mm. Sometimes you don't need to do loads of smoothing just a healthy drop some colour coding and the right wheel choice can make a really cool euro look car

Without upsetting anyone :upset:
euro is so gona be the next thing!
For years now big body kits have all started to blur into one!
Don't get me wrong some big kits can still look good but more often than not kids (and its alway kids) just buy the bits with out looking at the original line of a car and just end up wasting a lot of money making a Saxo look look like a Fiesta or Corsa.
Euroin it brings out the true line you bought the car for in the 1st place for, so go for it boss, slam it on small wheels smooth it and hide the exhaust :Y:

^^^I concur with what VTS_16v_boy speaks. Euro is the next big thing to hit the general scene. Obviously the Dub lads have been doing it again for the past few years and its slowly creeping into the mainstream modding

Mainly highlighted the french stuff cos thought thats what the majority of you would be interested in, but obviously the german cars vw/audi etc can provide a lot of inspiration.

I know there are some previous Euro related threads kicking about. Just had to search for them.
Here (http://www.michael-cracknell.co.uk/ads.htm) are some pics of Ad's Euro rims before his car was written off.
Here (http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20102) is a Euro car related thread that many people contributed to.
And here (http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29502) is a Euro Saxo related thread.

IMO most Euro styling looks silly, and to the untrained eye just another chavved up max power car. Some can look quite nice though.

Euro and Max Flower cars are in my opinion two completely different things...

Euro is definitely going to be big, nice and smooth and lower than a snakes belly! Pickups like VW caddies are apparently gonna make a come back, not sure about them though.

Hence why I said "to the untrained eye" ;)

They are not the same at all imo. Euro is much classier and looks hell of a lot nicer.

my_saxo_sport... Give Style Dynamix (http://www.styledynamix.co.uk/) a call and ask to speak to Shahid. He knows what he's talking about. That's where I got my Brocks from.
Ry_B... Even to the "untrained eye" nobody would look at a Euro and Max Flower car and say they're styled the same if not VERY similar. Take wheels for example. Euro is about small deep dish wheels. Max Flower is about big five spoke chrome blinging wheels. Hmmm.
Dan... You know it :-)

Deffo go Euro, that red 106 is loverly! Do it, and strech your tyres on wide rims aswell for extra pimpage.

euro style isnt practical....if you slam your car 80mm you could be getting yourself into alot of trouble and not just with your car....the law states if your car is in a stance which can damage public roads then it will be deemed illegal....so i would def double check the details on this before you do anything mental like that.....plus speed bumps in the uk are a nightmare with non lowered cars so i can only imagine what it would be if you lowered it 80mm
