Got a question with spacers, ive got a set of 15's et18 6j alloys and want to know what would be best spacer wise as they sit in to much for my likeing.

Its a vt"r" chassis wise lowered 40mm with 283mm brake setup on the front. Would 20mm spacers(hubcentric) be alright all round or 20mm at rear and say 10mm at front better? Possible problems atall? Brake clearance, rubbing etc

Thanks for the help in advance

they are the correct fit for your car, no need to use spacers.

I had 30mm on rear with standard vtr alloys for same reason.
However this pushed the tread just outside the arch so 25mm would probably have been better.
If you fit stretched tyres you can push the weeks out wider but keep the tread tucked under the arch.
It's probably going to be trial and error to be honest mate, though you could measure the distance between alloy face and outer arch to give you a bit of an idea.

I'm on the lookout for some deep dish wheels and debating over the same issue lol

yeah thats what i mean, haha to stretching tyres on my 6j alloys....that would be a FAIL bigtime, what im thinking is 20 on the rear and 10 on the front,, but as i have 283mm brake kit on the front i dont think they will clear with 20mm spacers so would they clear with 10mm?

the fronts are pushed out further at the front on the sax anyway so 20 rear and 10 front i think would be a decent enough compromise and wanted the views of the "helpful" guys and gals that have already done it not smart arses that dont have a clue like the earlier poster

Yeah I see what you mean, vtr alloys are 7j I think and I wouldn't put stretched tyres on them, so you could probably use a BMX tyre to stretch onto 6j lol

Vtr wheels are 6.5 iirc mate
