hey guys

thought id share my wee project with ya. i bought her a few weeks ago as a wee project. I've never owned a saxo before n it was gonna get scrapped so i bought it. its as rough as toast but i could see potential. 172k on the clock, 4 solidly seized discs, an exhaust held together with rust n an oil leak to rival the exxon valdez. not pretty but I've done what i can so far.

Reckoning im gonna need a new engine but no 100% on what yet. I like an engine conversion so either a carb'd vts or a gti-6. Fully poly bushing n coilovers, 4 pots n a caged interior. Im not a bling kinda guy so none o this chrome n shiny shit for me. For me tho, the hardest part is getting the wheels right. Very few wheels out there suit the saxo perfectly so i need to think long and hard about that. Suggestions are always appreciated.

Cheers guys. I always preferred the mk1 front end tbh. Just hate tht feckin keypad immobiliser. Replacing the handbrake cables yday (c**t of a job) n noticed some daft arse had tried to jack the car up on a floor panel n not a beam n theres a dirty big hole in the floor! Really hope its repairable n i dont have to re-shell. After 4 years of a driving ban, i wanna modify n drive!!!
