Well, i'm back in an e46 after so much regret of selling my old Coupe!
Travelled to Cheshire to see and buy this lovely Coupe...

Pics were taken off the advert and will have to get some fresh pics of my own when I have time and the weather is better.
Absolutely bog standard and with the cloth seats which I wanted from day one.
Plans atm:
Leave it and just maintain it.
No mods planned so far, but I would love to lower it and add some 32's on maybe next year :P

Nice car. Do these have the swirl flaps?? If so get th removed as these break and can damage the engine. You can get the blanking plates for them, but I can't remember who sells them.

A BMW without leather is not a BMW for me, looks nice from the outside though, in fact one of my favourite cars these are.

Didn't want leather. Leather is nice to look at and it's classy but on a hot day they get so hot and sweaty, especially on long drives.
These cloth seats are so much more comfy than leathers :D

Lovely car mate, very jealous! I have to agree with the cloth vs leather. Leather SEEMS more upmarket, but personally I think it's a pain in the arse. Having said that, the seats in my car are incredible, although not sure if the leather contributes to it or not. Easier to clean though, which is about the only bonus...

Yeah any stains in cloth seats needs a lot of work to remove whereas leather is very easy to clean.
I don't think it takes a lot away from these motors though, very nice looking cars.

i see what you mean about leather tbh! ive always thought this when driving the e93
The leather seats feel too firm for long drives

Looks like the bolsters are alcantara as well, which always looks really nice IMO. I really like the interior actually, most important part of a car for me. Always thought the E46's had boring interiors though, unless it was different for the earlier models like 2001/2002

I don't understand the horrible orange glow behind the clocks. Thought they may have spruced that up, even a white glow behind it would have been nicer.

Yes the bolsters are alcantara too :y:
I love the interior, seats are very very comfy. Do not miss my heated leather recaros in my golf.

Yes this is one thing that bugs me, in an '05 plate BMW they have plane boring dials with old crap orange looking lights!! Defo needed something modern :D

Nice mate, what's the mileage on it? Hard to find decent mileage one these days.
How are you finding the performance compared to the petrol?

I really like it and I quite like the cloth interior, my e46 has a full black leather interior an tbh I dont like it but then that might be because its only se spec an the seats aint supportive at all!

Cheers Aaron, the 320d are good actually.
They are no 330d but they still pull well and don't lack performance but if performance is what you want then a 330d is where it's at. The 320d only has 4 cylinders and 150bhp.
They are great on fuel though :y:

Maybe next year I will de cat it, fmic and map it but not untill next year :)
If you get a petrol one, defo get a 330 petrol :)
I like it :y:
Cheers Simon.

Mileage is 103k but has a full BMW history so mileage wasn't really an issue :D
Performance wise it's not the best but doesn't lack it.
Has 150bhp and 250 torque so pulls well.

You and Dom can be butt buddies now!
Nice example tbh. I quite like the seats but I think the door cards let the interior down.

You better make it better then :D
My mate has a 330ci Msport I like it dont get me wrong looks good, interior is nice.. It sounds good.
But for 227bhp the power is too smooth so it doesnt feel fast. Even though it beat my mates MK2 golf 20VT running 210bhp.. It just doesnt feel quick atall lol.
ASW time sorry...
Just finished cleaning it at mine :P

Not really an update but thought I'd share...
Nice new Nankang NS2's
http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/vv81/Willy_Proffitt/44e5eedb.jpg
I know they are a budget tyre but for the money and reviews I thought I would try them, so far so good :)
Well I've been thinking about mods and I just can not help my self :P lmao
So my plans are:
Lower the front a little, I think the rear is fine atm
Spacers all around
Aux cable fitted to the OE head unit
New BMW badges
Silver tech bulbs on the front
6k Xenons
They are in no order and I will proberly add / remove some in time :)
I am in no rush to do any of the above but the front ride height is starting to bug me :P lmao
Thanks

I will be getting coilovers just for the fact they are reasonably priced and I can adjust them when ever I want

Haha I know :( I was after a grey one but all the grey owners think their colour is far superior and over price it. This black one came up and just had to have it, looks amazing once cleaned :D
I wont be selling this one any time soon :p
