Hi
I'm looking at totally overhauling my suspension system
I just want to know what else I'd need as I have:
New wishbones - these have the ball joints in them - also new, and therefore ball joints or track rod ends are required...right?
New powerflex wishbone bushes
New powerflex front ARB bushes
New powerflex rear beam bushes
I plan to get:
Bilstein Group N dampers
H+R 40mm lowering springs
Group N top mounts
Bilstein B8 rear dampers
What else do I need?
Like drop links?
They're the only thing that springs to mind really! Anything else you can advise? I don't need things like 'buy gaz' or 'powerflex is wank' :P
Thanks guys

Well all I can actually think of is drop links
I've checked on eBay ranging from £5 to £80!
Is there really a reason one pair is a tenner and the other pair is £80!?

Upgraded rear wishbone mounts? If its going to take a hammering, strut strength plates and diesel wishbones?
Thanks
Won't be taking a hammering as such!
Don't think I'll need the plated or stronger wishbones
But the rear wishbone mounts interest me now, Spoox ones?

There's a solid red one thats made of the same thing as floflex bushes but I can't remember who makes them.
What about upgrading the rear arb for one out a 106gti?

They may be too much though I'm thinking!
I think the only component I need is a pair of drop links just to be safe! Wishbone has ball joints and track rod ends already!

That's a good idea coz I always read 'replace the bolt' :P
Bit picky....do you have a total price for the bolts to cater for a front suspension overhaul?
Thanks

A 'no stone unturned' scenario tbh!
And thanks but not thanks, I'm leaving the rear beam as is, just changing the dampers on the back

I'll sort you a price later!!
Mine are better quality than that as they are galvanised so have far better protection against rust!!!
Personally I would advise people to avoid that seller on eBay and use either of my accounts
Kaarparts1
Or
9657adriana
The bolts may be a bit more but they won't rust the first time the car gets wet and im a member on here aswell
