Evening all, I have just bought a 99 VTR with exhaust, lowering springs and induction kit to use for hillclimbing so I thought I would join up as I have found forums useful in the past for advice etc

Only one for now, and not a great one either to be honest. One thing I do know is the red lip around the bottom of the front bumper has to go!!

Welcome to the forums!
Have a stalk of DaveP on here - he's you're main man for all things hillclimb. If you check out some of his videos on youtube, you'll be staggered. His car's pretty good, and he can peddle a bit too ;)
Enjoy your stay!

Looks nice, clean too, would definitely loose the random red strip unless you added some more red into it,brake calipers, graphics etc.

Thanks for the welcomes, my intention is pretty much only use it for hillclimbing so will rarely use it on the roads and as a result probably won't find it that hard to keep clean. Besides, i used to have a white scooby so i am fully aware of that aspect. I never envisaged myself owing a saxo but it came at a price i couldn't refuse so i did the sensible thing. Couple of minor things need doing but other than that will stay as it is for now. Maybe at the end of next year it might get a cage but only time will tell

I like how you choose to keep the price paid quiet :y:
Looking forward to next season comparing times between VTR/VTS :boxing:

Shhh, don't mention what we paid for them! Especially as they are both white, you need to add the picture you took

Thanks, i never realised how much love their was for a white Saxo!
Originally i was going to race the nova next year but to get the times that i am after it will be much cheaper in the Saxo. If it is still going by the end of next year i might cage it with a view of rallying it in the future
