If you have to ask that question don't put that sticker on your car.

50mm is not slammed.. my front end is down around 75mm and i wouldn't class mysely as slammed tbh, purely because of the rake though.

If its like a proper 80mm all round then fair play ;)

so you think a load of stupid stickers look good?

if a car is slammed why do you need a sticker saying 'slammed'? any person with working eyes can see it is slammed

You dont like stickers on cars. Fair enough, We get that. Doesnt mean someone else shouldnt have stickers on their car because you dont approve. Are you one of these people that only do a 'modification' because someone else has done it too, following the bandwaggon because your brain isnt creative enough to come up with it own idea?

His car, Do what he wants to it.

if you saw any of my cars you would realise i do not follow what anyone else does to their cars, i build cars for me and how i want them, not how others say to have them

I havent seen any of your cars... Care to share any of them? What makes them so different to the others?
If you're all for 'making a car different' then why are you trying to stop someone from putting their own touch on their own car?

euro'd mk5 fiesta back in 2006 when everyone was still fitting stupid kits to them with 17/18's, unfortunately it got wrote off weeks before its feature, i'll put up pics when i'm on my laptop instead of my phone

fitting stickers that 100's of people have is really different :zainy:

I used to own a MK5 ZS, was a member on ZSOC for a couple of years and I do recall seeing quite a lot of 'euro' Fezzies on there.

Stickers - Although (obviously) not to your taste, others may like them.. be creative with them and they can transform the way a car looks. I'm not really into them myself, a sticker here and there, placed strategically i like, sticker-bombing i don't.

However, i'm not a fan of the 'euro' look at all... especially on a car which isn't European! But thats just my opinion.

no one did the 'euro' look on cars other than vag til about 2008, i was well ahead doing it on something other than a vag car in 2006

i have always been a fan of fiestas and always been a fan of the dub scene, so put the 2 together

So what you're saying is that all these people who have styled their car 'Euro' style have copied you?

umbro
3rd August 2012, 15:55
did i say that? no i didn't!

tbh i'll say ben chandlers brown saxo with the schmidt th lines put the 'euro' look infront of the masses and showed that look can be done on other cars than vag cars

silver vtr, black vtr alloys, lowered, wish i'd of thought of that

rick, aren't you turning that into a grass tracker or something?

rick_VTR
3rd August 2012, 16:18
yeah doing crop car racing :)

umbro
3rd August 2012, 16:20
why have you lowered it then? my mate does grass tracking and other stuff similar and they have had to lower the tops of the strut towers to gain more clearence

rick_VTR
3rd August 2012, 16:24
you only want clearence at the font really.

as theres no exhaust or fuel tank underneath theres nothing really to protect.

low at the back and high at the front, helps to stop you flipping over, lower centre of gravity and all that, also stiffens it up a hell of a lot so you just fly across all the lumps and bumps.

they had been having problems with the floor hitting things, and rubbing even with arches chopped right down

If you like it, that's all that matters. I was going to put the Saxp stickers on mine but never got round to it, and now it's gone lol.
I did put a 'hearing protection must be worn' sticker on the back next to the exhaust of mine... Mainly because it was that loud though! Lol
