I changed my manifold to a straight through one about 1200 miles ago and the ecu loght has come on. Ive got the 2nd lambda plugged into an extender thing and then into the manifold. Just womdered if anyone has come accros this before? I would of expected it to come on within a hundred miles or so. Im going to put a sleeve on the sensor tommorow and see if that helps.
What would the result of driving it like this short term? Just use more fuel?

Cool story bro ect.

Unplug the 2nd lambda sleeve it or route it somewhere where it gets clean air.

Ive just sleeved it and fired it up. The light was still on but i guess i got to run it for a few miles to sort itself out.

How long does it take for the light to go out?

You have to clear the fault from the ecu's memory...
