If you go thru GarryM over on the rallyeregister he can get them slightly cheaper than going thru DaveMac direct...
i got some a few weeks ago.. £200 delivered from memory...

Think Pug Performance do them, i have it wrote down somewhere and there about £87 each. Best off ringing them and asking about them. if its not Pug Performance its Pug1off that do them

How much power can the oem driveshaft stand on a vtr/vts?
including the gearbox and the clutch?

The shaft isn't generally the first thing to let go, it's the CV joints. And they struggle with standard power frankly. Add hard launches, drag strip use, and it's just a matter of time. MA gearboxes are also not the strongest, but are generally fine for most mods. Same with a decent (standard type) clutch - will cope with mods basic mods fine.

the MacProps (and i think the TRS items) run different CV joints with 6ball bearing units rather than the standard 3...
as to how much stronger/longer lasting these will be i have no idea..
