Sidewalls are too soft, just replaced with kumho and for the money they are just as good, might be because the toyo were shagged tho

Decent tyres imo.. Had 3 set's now.

As said the inside / outside wear's fast.. Bound to happen when throwing it about tho.

Get 6-8k fast-road miles out of the front set. But at £34 a tyre.. I don't mind going through 2 set's a year ;)

I do love the T1r's but I haven't tried much else.

However I've got the confidence in them and don't know whether to risk buying different that could be worse.

If I was to buy more it would be a toss up between another set of T1r's or rainsport 2s as they get good reviews.

I just bought a Civic Type-R and looking to replace the front tyres as the ex owner put ditch finders on it. I have T1R's on my 106 and works van, good grip in dry but not to hot in the rain. T1R's aren't that popular on the Honda owners club.

ive said it before and ill say it agen, the only tyres ill put back on my own cars are avons (wear out fast but real good) or yoko's (great and dont wear out as fast as avons but not as good in wet...) avon zv5 is great in the wet but very soft and wear out fast, yokos better in the dry, harder, last longer but have to be alot smoother in the wet because they will bite...
