right just been looking through my service history and seen that my timing belt has been changed at 56301 miles and then again at 65417 miles and then at 73414 miles.

right the cars on 97158 miles now when the timing belt need changing?

its 60,000 miles or 10 years.

However can you see if a full kit was fitted such as tensioner and idler?

If not i would get a full kit fitted...

not alot bout £150-200 can be done within half hour if you know what you are doing.

If buying the kit then get a GATES kit.

Paid £130 for mine and fitting
But I got mine done at 70k
Not sure why yours has had 3 in 30k?

might have had a water pump mate , your supposto change the belt when ya do em for some reason :/

Do my polo every 25k... 40quid for the kit, is worth the peice of mind. Oil and filter every 5k air every 10k, heater plugs ever 2-3 winters...

Mines on 74K and I don't think its ever been done (Well last guy was a mechanic that owned it) :panic: I know what i'll be buying next pay day.
