Will one of these body kits (standard gti kit) fit on a 1.1 saxo?
Anyone tried it?

Anything will fit with enough modification tbh. There's a 106 with a full 306 front end for example.
Pretty sure the bumpers won't be a direct fit but the side skirts and arches should I guess. I'm not a bodywork guy mind - sure someone else will be along to assist soon ;)

I liked the idea,
you can use VT front arches, sideskirt.. bumper but would a GTI rear arches work with it

I've seen a VT kit on a 106 with minimal modding so surely it would be the same. Front bumper would be a pain in the arse, probably have to use the top half of a VT bumper with the bottom half of a 106

will look stupid on the rear, 106's have number plate recess in the bumper, saxos have it on the tailgate so you would have 2 recess's meaning you would have to smooth one of them

If you where doing a proper good job of it on a VTS or something then I'd say yeah, take it on, I reckon it'd look good.
But if you've just seen a cheap Quicksilver kit on eBay or something, don't bother :homme:

You have to take into account that of you put on on the brakets are not the same and you will just make it look like something pug n cit have tryed to no do. Make the cars look sim in anyway Ie number plates the dash the bonet holders little thing to sep the cars. If you was to do it smooth it in to the body custom it to make you car diff. The benifits of the vt kit the car look more meaty if you know what I mean??
