Ladies,

I've been away from the gym for over a year now. Last night I decided to get back into it and did bench press, incline fly, dips, press ups and some basic dumbbell exercises for my shoulders.
Basically a very easy set of exercises to ease back into it.

I'm used to sore muscles after training, but my elbows have been agony this morning. Can't work out if its joint problems or a small muscle that I've not been using in my time off and it's just bruised slightly. Anyone have any suggestions for a remedy if it's a joint problem?

Ta,

Tom

Weird this I found I have the same problem, yesterday did a chest session and my elbows hurt really bad even while I was doing it. I've not had time off at the gym though. feels like joint problems, worried me so I could do with and answer as well

Are you taking Omega 3 and Glucosamine? I love the stuff :)

Not currently dude, if you think it'll help I'll give it a go.

Honestly, start taking 1000mg of omega 3 a day and a glucosamine supp (Can get these cheaply in Aldi etc)

You'll feel the difference in a few days, so much more flexible / supple :)

Just ignore it and it'll probably go away

Omega 3 is brilliant for joints, it's also good for helping/increasing short term memory
