people are like that and will make excuses for it, gove him a weeks deadline to refund you and if he doesnt then tell ebay straight away. save all your messages and emails from him if you need to show ebay evidence.

dont think theres anythin u can do, if the ad was for smoked rear lights, then you've bought smoked rear lights, theres no such thing as 'genuine' smoked lights.

unless the ad was different.

link to a pic of the lights? to be honest he will win the plea because he did send you a pair of smoked lights for a saxo so its not really faulse advertising so paypal will prob go in his favour.

paypal and ebay is a mega arse when it comes to problems, they took over a year to sort my problem out

You can see they've been sprayed.
And he didn't state they were professionaly done, so I think it will go in his favour. Sods law! :ill:

Also before they arrive i messaged him stating that if they were sprayed i didnt want them and he mailed me saying that they were not sprayed and the paint he bought was for his indicators so paypal have that email too hopefully it will go my way because he stated that they wernt sprayed

Erhhh...

1. You can tell from the pics on the Ebay ad that they've been sprayed.
2. He's ripping you off on postage and packaging.
3. His description of the lights on the ad is correct. They are smoked lights.
4. You could have bought some REAL Ultra smoked lights for £60 including delivery. Why didn't you get some of those?

if u want those lights still u can get em back to smoked which will last longer!

simply wash the lights. then with wet sand paper gently rub over the lense so it's smooth. then spray when dry with tintin paint and decide on how many layers u want. that way the paint will absorb into the plastic and not jsut sit on top of it when it drys.

hope that helps:thumbup:

You will not win mate as the lights are not significantly different as the description. I had this exact same problem when I sold some lights (Mine were fine tho) but in my case the buyer presumed stufff and tried getting a refund through paypal. I won tho and so will he probably sorry bud. Expensive to pay for the lights tho although I sold mine for £61 not inc pnp.
