Gears

this has just started happening the past few days,

i sometimes find it difficult to put it into first gear and it sometimes grinds when putting it into reverse

anybody got any idea what this could be???

im thinking it may be my gear selector but wanted to see if any one on here has had the same or similar problem

try the gearbox oil.

if ur gearbox is going ull find it hard to engage gears espec 1 and 2.

is the clutch slipping?

the clutch isnt slipping that ive noticed i just find it hard sometimes to get it in first and crunches when being put in reverse!!!

It could be your gear linkage. I had problems with mine... I noticed itwhen I found it hard to get into reverse. It would kind of grind because I couldn't get it into gear properly. The linkage is held on by two studs... one of mine was snapped and the nut on the other had come loose...

just normal i think mate mines exactly the same have to force it into reverse and it sometimes crunches the gearboxes are shite
