Just got my hands on a Saxo - a 1.1 Forte in Metallic Blue.

Over the next 4 months going to rip back seats out and put buckets and harnesses in, Performance Parts, VTR Spoiler/Rear Bumper. Smaller Aerial, VTR Alloys & a performance exhaust system. Fitted the sound system this weekend ( Alpine speakers for the front and back, Sub in the boot which is a JBL 1000 Wat and a Sony Amp..Sounds good)

Enjoying the car, Gave it a good service and a clean today ( New Oil, New standard air filter etc..) and spent a good two hours cleaning it - First a clean wash with non soapy water - Then with car shampoo, Then polished the inside and outside glass and used turtle-wax inside cleaner with a nice scent :panic:

After that and gave the car a buff with shammy cloths - Gave it a good wax..

Outside of the internet world - I live in Lancashire, Wigan to be exact and hope to become part of the community!

if its only 1.1 what performance parts you thinking? would be easier getting gains putting a vtR/S engine in it

Was looking at placing a VTR/VTS engine in it - Was going to do the stantard Induction Kit and a decent performance exhaust - However not with one of them big back boxs which sound like your doing a lot more than 10 mhp!

I wouldn't bother ripping out the back seats and fitting buckets and harness unless your planing on fitting a cage. Fit a nice set of reclining buckets and keep the standard seatbelts. Get a VTS interior or a 106GTi leather interior fitted. Looks awesome and keeps it functional so you can cart your mates or "da biatches" around ;)

next up, get yourself over to the north west section of the forum and say hello. Read the sticky threads at the top of the section for loads of helpful info and read the site rules carefully. Loads of new people get caught out by not keeping in line with the rules. They are here to make sure you get the most out of the site and for your safety as well as others ;)
