leaking shock ??

Hey guys driving bacl today aand noticed a fairly load. Knocking / clunking noise from my vts on driversside front , originally sounded like a driveshaft but after inspection in look as if my shock may be leaking as at the botttom of my strut there is fluid and has spilt onto my cv boot and been fired around I've checked my boot and no rips or breaks anywhere just wondering if anyone has had tthis before or knows of anyone who has many thanks

My shocks started leaking on my Celica and I needed to replace them all, before they all went.

Did yyyou get the knocking noise when turning ?

My shocks have been seeping fluid for the last 3yrs,just comes up as an advisory on the MOT never bad enough to fail.

Don't think the noise is comming from the shock tho , it seems more like a driveshaft noise comming from the ccar and only does it on a left turn
