Had an advisory in my last MOT for play in the suspension arm ball joints. Can I get away with just replacing the ball pins or do I need to go the whole hog and replace the full wishbones?
TIA

yes you can change the balljoints and it will pass.
you have to take wishbones off though as they have to be pressed in at a garage.

Then the tracking will need to be done afterwards.

Just get a couple of new wishbones, pressing them out can be a pain if you arent near a place with a press plus you wont be getting the tight new bushes and rear rubber mounts if you reuse the old ones. All for only a few quid difference too
