Hi,

I'm a noobie on her so please be kind.

I've got a Saxo 1.6 VTR. My second saxo now, bloody love them.

Thing is, recently ive had problems with the revs, for example: sometimes when driving at a consistent speed i get juddering, it feels like it can't find any power. But i goes away when i put my foot down and increase the revs. This also happens sometimes when i move up a gear but then reduce the revs, the same juddering.

Another thing i have noticed is it revs just under 1000 rpm whilst idling, which is normal, but sometimes when i start it up, i give it gas, it revs up but then when the revs fall they fall below 500 rpm and the engine cuts out. And for the first time this happened when i pulled up to a round about earlier, when i stopped the engine cut out.

I keep the car really well serviced, and have spent a fair bit of money on it lately.

What i do no though is there is a slight blow hole in the exhaust. I don't know alot about cars, but the hole is in what i think is called the intake pipe? basically its after the join in the exhaust, but way before the cat.

Also i know the clutch release bearing is noisy, so at some point i am going to have problems with it slipping. But i don't think its any of these issues that's the problem.

HELP!!!

Thanks... Craig.
