Bought my saxo for £550 expecting to spend abit of money on it but at the moment its all jsut one thing after another. power steering hose has split so at the moment theres no power steering, waiting for a new hose from citroen, battery is flat as fuck hasnt even got enough power to start the car ( think this is because a light was left on over night ) so now have to find someone with jump leads and just went to the car and two of the tyres are getting flat... so even when i do get it started, still need to get the tyres sorted before i can drive it. And worst of all, im not even at home, im at a friends house and having to stay here for weeks untill all of this gets sorted!

Battery and tyres are your own fault and you don't need power steering to drive it, so the cars done nothing wrong at all.

put the battery on charge... or give it a push.
the saxo only weighs about 50gram so you can bump start it yourself- i have hundreds of times.

check the tyres to see if they are damaged or just a bit low... pump them up.

so really, the only thing to go wrong is the power steering pipe, which is a piece of cake to fix lol.

Tbh, I did find this with my saxo. Dominoe effect. Fix one thing on them and the car doesn't like it. I know that's not technically what has happened here, but still. I am glad I changed car when I did!

Its not just this, car vibrates alot and been through everything and needs a good £600 or so spent to get it running sweet. and although these arnt serious problems, its the fact that im in south london with no one here i know except the small family im staying with. thats the hard part. Its sat at the end of a dead end at the bottom of a hill

They are... great upgrade lol.
143bhp, limited slip diff, red leather, air con... its almost luxury compared to the saxo lol.

Sure it will be fine dude, i think its down to owning a saxo which makes you fear MOT times... i know i used to!

Just a prediction based on the username, I would say she is female therefore I dont think bump starting a car by herself is an option. I could be wrong though!

Never noticed that one!
Could always get the family to help push it up the hill, and let it roll back down and bump it that way.
I've had to bump a few cars in interesting situations. the worst was at the bottom of a sodden field, that got messy! thankfully it wasnt mine though :)

To be honest, its a lovely car but once ive got these 3 things sorted i think im gna sell it. only paid £550 for it so if i can get that back with no problems then ill be happy. just getting abit annoyed with it. and as you guys said, im experiencing the domino effect

Shame Tom couldnt say the same. ;)

Ive offered a reliable Citroen to tow him but he found that funny. :homme:

I'm confused, the only thing that has actually gone wrong is the power steering hose splitting and because of this you're thinking of selling. All the rest is just wear and tear or user fuck up, let's hope you never have an nice expensive motor and a £20 hose splits.

Most probably the word reliable. It sure as hell made me laugh!

Pink, yeah I experienced this, however I wasn't as clever. I decided to throw money into it, wasted money. Also mine was about the same price. Don't fall into the trap that I did.

Thats not the case atall. as i said it needs about £600 spent on it to get it up to scratch and as a student this hose was the last push for me. Just think i could do better as i need a car abit more reliable due to work

Man up and stop crying, hardly big problems don't see why you need to stay at your friends just because you've got a flat battery and no power steering.

Get your friend to give you a little push and bump that bitch.

Gay Tom? What's wrong with his golf?

As i said for the third time now ... its not just the pwoer steering ad battery, it needs alot of money spent. And i need something to be reliable for work .. its hardly reliable when ive had it for a few months and almost every week im posting something different on here

Think you need to learn about cars and how they function, get yourself a manual.
