Top cover with RAC for sax-p members is £94.50. (25% discount)

So £16 more expensive than Greenflag... You see very few greenflag trucks on the road (or I do) so I bet they sub-contract most jobs.

You pay your money, so you decide... I know who I will keep renewing with.

With RAC I think you get £25 discount on renewal if youve not called them out too. ;)

i agree with simo p below and would stick with the big names, the difference you payover a year is negligble (cant spell that!).
Ive been with the AA for years and they come out quick enough. cheers

Ive just read on the SSC forum that the AA do not come out in the event of a crash... but the RAC do.

Thats something id not thought of before, but its good that RAC cover accident recovery too! :A:

Im with RAC not too bad i must say, waiting times depend on where the nearest RAC van is to you normally 30mins - 2hrs!!!

When my fuel pump died they diagnosed it spot on and towed me home, bloke was really nice towed it home for me instead of to the garage then some girls across the road were laughing at me for breaking down at 2am in the morning haha. He showed me how to replace the pump so i went to silverlake scrappy next day got 1 for £30 and put it in, worked ever sinse!

Also, i ran out of credit whilst phoning them and they rang me straight back on my mobile which was nice of them to not just leave me stranded :)
