Can you tell if your driveshafts are tapered or none tapered without taking the driveshaft off the hub? Can i just jack the car up and see the tapered/none tapered bit of the shaft? My car is a mk2 1.4 2000 reg but with silver top single plug ecu (none crossover loom) so dont think itd be possible to guess which i need without looking.

I would guess at tapered, but you never know with Citroen

You can tell by the depth of the hub nut, tapered nuts are longer than none tapered

Yeah i searched google too but always comes up with saxp. All the answeres where there but all the shafts had been taken off the hubs hence me asking if you can tell without taking apart. But yeah now you mentioned it i can tell with the thread on the shaft i should be able to tell. Just dont wanna be taking apart to see which i need, put back together to use the car whilst ordering replacement shaft and then taking apart again to swap lol. Just being a lazy arse realy too haha. Cheers again

Can't see it but can determine which it is by the length of the nut, so the driveshaft doesnt have to be removed
