I live in a really rough part of the UK but not much, in fact almost nothing that happens here gets put in the news.

We have had a few murders with an axe, some dudes head outside a school and a few rapes which has been in the media.
Its the stuff i know of that doesn't get any mention i find weird, i guess not all can be put in the news.

What proper bad crimes have happened in your area?? Has it affected you??

I love next to town hill in swansea, it's the poorest area in the UK you can buy a house there for 30k it truly is shit. Crime is rife but none of it has really affected me, doesn't stop me keeping a bat next to the door though!

Where abouts do you live?

Depending on how large an area you call your area..On my road, within 10 doors down:

- Man OD on heroin and found dead on the grass in front of his flat
- A bloke helped the council get into a bungalow opposite when they didnt have the keys, he used a coat hanger and some other pieces of metal to unlock the door
- The same bloke smashes his own windows from the inside out
- Peado lives in the end flat and regularly has his windows smashed and egged, also has a dog that has been put down for defacing a woman and other dogs
- Flat 2 doors from mine, the guy used it as a cannabis farm, went on for a good while
- Other week some guy got stabbed and shouting till about 3am and kept me awake
- Also know of an organised group, well 2 which kinda help each other out abit
- And finally, some connections to another group

LOL. I'd like to think I don't live in a particularly bad area, but there's an area near to me that is a complete shithole, and the residents seem to like to travel. I work a two minute walk from home currently (leaving at the end of next month) and we've been broken into numerous times - that's been in the local rag a few times. We're also the second highest shop for shoplifters in the South East - woooo for us! :fcuk:

There was also a bloke that murdered his missus then threw himself off Beachy Head a few years back. I heard a while ago that there was still blood stains on the walls when the property was put back up for sale/rental...

Oh and the pub next door to work was exposed as a drugs den a few months back - that made the local papers as well. Work's got all the CCTV of about 7 marked and undercover cars jump on the place haha.

While I was doing my GCSE's (so me bring 21 now, a good few years ago) there was a lunatic waving a fake gun in the middle of the night at police at the back of Iceland (where else) saying "Come and get me," so they did... lolz

On my street alone we have 4 dealers that I know of, regular drug raids every other week. Then the estate as a whole, mugging's, rape, you name it it'll have happened within the last few years. In the 90's, it used to be so bad for joy riding that the new part of the estate is designed to stop them with only two entrances to the estate. 3 of my mates have had their cars stolen.

I once went to the shop up the road from me, walked out and someone had been stabbed round the back of it. Another time, on my way to the bus stop bout half 9/10 someone raped a girl in the alley across from my house, the guy probably walked past me.

Valentines day 2011 we had a knock on the door at just got midnight, some young lad had been cut up real bad, ive never seen so much blood, all over my car where he fell against it, over the door where he propped his self against it, up the path and public path.

2 people where shot a week ago in different areas, it's a common occurrence, very rarely gets out of the regional papers tbh and most dont even get in at all.

Near enough outside my house a month or so ago two people where knocking 10 bells out of each other and one got his ear bitten off, seen it as I went the shop the next day.

Last year a delivery driver was pulled from his truck by two lads, he smacked his head and died, the lads left him and ran off.

The William Hill has been ram raided a number of times, one time the two robbers ran into the road and dragged a woman from her car and sped off in it.

The pub at the top of my road was renowned for trouble most nights, got burnt to the ground about 5 years ago.

Chased people off from my garden who have been trying to break into the garage / sheds and others have succeeded, last ones had 4ft bolt croppers 6am of a Sunday morning, lucky I was awake.

Cars in the street regularly get thei wing mirrors kicked off as chavs ride down on their bikes, also keyed / windows smashed. One every few months some will get stolen.

This is all in my street / at the top of it, it's actually a lot better than a lot of areas though believe it or not :)

On a city wide scale though it's pretty bad.

A memory stick was found with em on, got handed in, college rang the police, police went to the girl, she told them I'd forced her into it, threatened her, and told her id stab her.. (because im a bad man).

She was under 18, which counts as a child in the eyes of the law.. Police came and smashed my door down at 5AM in Feb 2009, fights broke out, punches were thrown, mine connected.. Ended up in the cells with the charges for indecent images of a child..

They took my phone and laptop, in my phones inbox was the text from her, which contained the pictures.. So in the eyes of the law, i was found in possession of indecent images of a child..

Spent 2 years on bail.. Went to court 7 times, police found over 600 images of the girl on her own computer, she had taken to send around to boys.. But apparently, that makes it not her fault, its my responsibility as an adult, to report to the police, or her mother, that a girl under 18 is been a slutty cunt..

So in the end, i pleaded guilty to possession and distribution of indecent images of a child (actually 16/17 years old when i was 19), which has given me 10 years on the sex offenders, appealable in 5 years, and a years suspended sentence order..

But hey ho, my sister smashed her face through a car window, karma struck back..
Plus i don't give a fuck, more girls want to play with my winky now im a bad man criminal and have been in the paper numerous times..


So take this as a warning from my sensible side.. If someone under 18 sends you a mucky picture, delete the fucker!

Yeah it was a few years ago now that murder but it was pretty weird - definitely remember hearing about it. Yeah he was a regular customer at work - seems like he was pretty well known.
