Best laptop for 350 quid?

I'm looking to buy a new laptop, and I have a budget of 350 quid.

There's so much choice out there I don't know what's good and what's bad.

I only really use a computer for browsing the web, uploading photos, facebook and downloading a bit of music now and then. So I don't need a big fancy gaming laptop.

What would you guys recomend with in my budget?

I've heard acer ones are pretty good but never had one.

Acer is a good budget make.
For that money you should be able to pick up a reasonable i3, maybe a used i5.
Ignore how much ram they put in there though, places like pc world advertise shit laptops with 6+gb ram all the time, it's unnecessary and it generally means they've cheaper out on other parts too.
