What a ridiculous load of tosh.
Im sorry but just because your kid aint got good grades why is that soley down to the school. Surely the kids have to be held responsible in some way.
Maybe they couldnt be arsed to put the work in I dont know.

By the way, this video was recorded in a school in Birmingham... Make what you will of that.

If it's anything like what I see around here, the little shits did fuck all all year round. C grade in English means you can't read or write.

Will be because of abit of both, kids not wanting to do anything and the teacher being shit and not making the lessons some what interesting and keeping them engaged with what they should be doing

Personally i think teachers hands are tied. They cant do sod all and no kid is really interested in maths when they're 7.

Pretty sure they don't do GCSE's at age 7 but even so, you'd be suprised how many kids actually enjoy maths, I was one of them

Sorry I just mean in general.. to re-inforce my point young kids dont like school sometimes and especially when they get older. Chip on shoulder, dont give a f00k etc. But teachers cant do fuck all.

Bring back the belt, you'll have permission on my kids if it did, when it stopped - that's where dicipline stopped in kids and teenagers, none of this destructive and stupidity pish.

Its all gone to pot because they changed the grading system... People who took exams in January.. If they got 40 points in a certain exam, they got a C, people who did them this summer, if they got 40 points, they would get a D..

if the kids wanted the grades they could have worked like mad and got them. Just as we had to if we wanted those grades, kids are too lazy. Fml I sound old!

It's silly to solely blame the teachers but their results are made up of 3 factors.

Parents - need to be spurring kids on and engaging in their education with them at a young age (I read to my daughter every night and sit with her doing her homework)

Teachers - limited in their abilities (law and health and safety restrictions) and if a child refuses to engage in the activities of the class or show any interest in the subject then there is nothing they can do

Students - I don't know of many people who liked school (I did btw) and this along with the "it's cool to be a rebel" scene means that unless these students actually care about their future then the two above will be banging their heads against a brick wall.

I do agree with ThrushMotorsport in that it is the lack of real punishment that allows kids to misbehave.

What a pathetic attitude from both parents and students alike. The audacity to actually blame the school is astounding, especially since the parents are the ones who should be monitoring their children's progress. The school can only do so much.

No wonder a lot of these students did poorly, with backward thinking from parents supporting their deluded minds.

and Piss poor sign writing lol

Welcome to the modern blame culture.

Fall over and injure yourself in an office building - Blame the company and win millions.

Get hit from behind in a car crash - blame the other party and claim whiplash. Get thousands.

Complain that you can't get a free house from the council - blame the council instead of working for a living.

Get poor grades at school - blame the teachers without considering the students attitude to work or parents support.

Fucks me right off.

Yep, pretty much it. There are times when its less of a case of blame and more a case of " well how do i support myself whilst im off work, It wasnt my fault someone cut my leg off ". In times like that its fair enough.

It is obvious though, that people take advantage. Claiming thousands for a rear shunt at 2mph.

She said she was asked to lift two sacks – each containing 500 £1 coins and weighing about 21lbs – without proper health and safety training.

What !.... I used to be a removal man we did stupid weights daily. 6 of us carrying tambers up 10 flights of stairs. It was literally like the strongbow ads. Surely it was against health n safety TBF but you dont see me claiming. Ridiculous some people are.

Olympics and jubilee this summer, riots over Christmas time.

No wonder kids marks dropped, probably were watching the telly or smashing up their local shops rather than revising.
