Guys, its been a while since I took off the front running gear on the donor VTR for my sons 1ltr. When it came to putting the new drop links on, I couldnt remember what way round the top part bolted on, so I did it with the nut facing towards the engine. Will this make any difference at all, as its a bugger to take off due to trying to get a spanner on the slot, so it wont turn when undoing the bolt, as most of it is inside the hole on the strut.

itll sit a lot closer to the wheel that way round
and you put more twist than it should have on the top joint

im afraid youll have to swap them round

The convesion is done, just had forgotten what way the drop links went on, easy enough mistake to make.
