We can all learn a lesson from this very descriptive advert ! http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201232481614417/sort/default/usedcars/price-from/1000/price-to/6000/model/206/make/peugeot/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/keywords/180/radius/1500/page/1/postcode/b338re?logcode=p

Isn't as bad as some others, but still pretty shit. Don't understand how people expect to sell cars like that

loL. Its crazy isnt it. I genuinely think some people either can't spell or can not be arsed to write the proper ad.

Not as bad as what I found on gumtree!! The only pic of this Clio was taken from inside their living room through the window so you saw more of their untasteful fake flower arrangements than the bloody car!
I made a thread but the ad got removed, and I didnt save the pic :(

My mate listed his car as 'good runner' and a picture of his car and that was it

I think we need a thread purely for shoddy car ads....

That is similar to the majority of the ad's on Autotrader tbh. I hate the people who literally list obvious stuff just to pad it out, like "indicator stalks, steering column" etc...I mean how thick can people be.

Its quite funny as saxp is quite bad for this. Ive seen some things in some peoples listings of such insignificant things:

Sticker in rear quarter
Teddy bear hanging from toe hook
Nice tax disc holder
T Cutted badges
White light bulbs

Just things to make their spec list look a whole load better.

Also I would have thought people would make the effort with their advert considering how much auto trader charge for an advert.

I see so many shit adverts on autotrader. It automatically puts the spec of your car like electric windows and power steering and stuff then you can edit it to what you want to put.

The best line in any advert is:

'Email me for pictures'

How about, add them to the advert you lazy bastard.
As a buyer I shouldn't have to ask.

That Clio advert was truly hideous. Literally like the seller had taken the picture from his front room. What a moron...

Completely agree. People like this should be sterilised IMO.
