Mine took 2 days to update/be put on there (car that is) it depends on the insurance company you have to keep calling them up

The missus was uninsured for 2 days .. It was showing up as uninsured after 24 hours.. Reinsured it few days later and was back on Askmid within 24 hours..

This was insured through Admiral.

The police use the only insurance database available. The motor insurance database (MID for short) Hence, the "ASKMID" website.

To the OP, I insured on the Friday afternoon, It wasn't showing on the Saturday evening, but showed up on the Sunday morning.

If I were you, I would call your insurance company to check they have you insured correctly.

Its insured with bennetts who are quite a big company. I could understand a few days but 3 months takes the piss. I phoned them on saturday and again monday but all i got from them was " we"ll email the underwriters then its down to them. All you can do is check the MID". Ive alteady paid for the yer so no point cancelling as i wont get any money back. Surely though this would be somthing along the lines of selling somthimg which is not to standard? Not what id call great customer service though.
