I hate to admit it but they have declined somewhat since FFX. Cant help myself though, love the Final Fantasy series.

It'll be a day one purchase for me, and I'll likely import too lol

Never too late for the story man! Aside from FFX,FFX-2, FFXIII and FFXIII-2 they are all different games with different characters and play styles.

If you have a PS3 then FF7-9 can be bought from PSN for a few quid. FFX is getting a HD makeover so will be worth a replay anyway :D

Enjoyed 9 until Vivi started getting all woe is me, kinda ruined it a little for me and I never bothered seeing it through to end sequence.
