Used them about 10 years ago for a couple of years. Since I moved postcodes they have been unable to get anywhere near other quotes.

Hiya
We can only offer the rates we have available from our panel of Underwriters. We cant drop rates, however much we may want to. If you do get a cheaper quotation, at renewal or as a brand new Client, we would refer the rate to our Underwriters to see if they are prepared to compete. I'm happy to here we have managed to arrange a cheaper quotation for you, if I can assist with this in any way for you please feel free to PM me anytime.
With regards
Dan
And yet when I came back with a cheaper quote than the £3000 with an excess to match offered by yourselves, I was told I was "dreaming" if I thought that was a genuine quote..
So professional.

I was with you for about 9 of the last 12 years.
Every renewal the price went up by several hundred £ :fcuk:
Every time I got a cheaper price. you magically could match it.
Why not just send your best price at renewal ;)
I knew every year when my renewal came through the price would be a joke.
Got so pissed off with it :wall:
I went elsewhere this year, even though you matched the price I'm paying now.
Then 3 days after my new policy started, I got a phone call off yourselves asking why I hadn't renewed.
A bit late, after the policy had started

Exactly what I did this year, now with Brentacre

I had an email from them saying they needed pics of exterior, interior and the engine bay. Is this normal for an insurance company? (apart from agreed value)

Im sorry to hear you have had this experience. I would be keen to know who spoke to you in this way as we have high expectations of our clerks. Would you be so kind to PM me the quote reference so I could look into this for you?
With thanks

I would, however this was in June so I no longer have any reference's from any quotes I made at the time.
However, it was enough for me to want to discount yourselves from any future quotes.

Your call attendants are pretty rude and short, after the first 30 seconds on the phone I was infuriated by her manner. Not a good experience in any case. i mamaged to get a quote and it was over a grand, Sykes got back with £430. Not long after i got a further quote for £750 from flux, wasn't even in the same ballpark tbf.

You got a web link for these guys?
I tried the Sykes company but because im in the forces he want all my service details for some unknown reason.. i asked why and they wouldnt giv eme an answer as to why they wanted them.
And further to this, they were asking for pictures of my car for the purpose of a quote.. All smelt a bit fishy to me:detective:
