Help!!

right, i was going at about 60 in 5th today, not ragging my car just cruzing, slowing down for the junction i went into 4th, and the gearstick was really floppy, all i have got is 3rd and 4th and when its in gear it moves left and right, its really confused me!!

plz dont say this is going to cost me loads to fix?????????????:cry: :upset:

Sounds like your gearbox has gone and you need a new one mate which id imagine is costyish.

its probably just your linkage - it happened to my saxo twice in a year

eventually it completly went and i could move it in a circle

it will be your linkage as said above.
if you look down the back of teh gear box you will see 3 rods. 1 of these will have come off. its the shit nylon bushs they use.

yep, just popped it back on and put a bolt thru it, i think it uses a clip tho, so i will have to go to citroen and see!
