my airbag light turns on when i pass +- 7200 7400 in fith gea
do i have any problem??????

i would be more worried about the engine than the airbag light at them revs

Flat out mate i take it? i'm surprised it even goes to that high. I was going to say check the alternator, that was what caused mine to come on but not at that sort of revs or speed

its not always........ it happens and its scary
my car does 7500 in fith gear so its normal....

even with the rev limiter u shouldnt go into the red.

its prob the alternator/electrics goin into overdrive cos at those revs everythings being strianed.

just check connections first.

and keep in the power band! fast and furious has got a lot to answer for with all this mindless flooring

My airbag light flashes all the time - something to do with the seatbelt sensors...I know its no help, but thought i'd say!

mike = corect. it can be the tensioners. remove the neg lead and let the bat capcitors drain (dont want the airbag goin off in ur face) then remove the tensioners under the seat, add wd40 and refit securely in place.

refit the neg lead and off you go. :)

if this dont solve the prob then u do have a prob with the airbags, check the airbag ecu.

it was just a question and the car walks pretty good so..... thanks anyway

i dont know how fast i was going.... the display only marks 220....
at 7000 i´m doing 220 so 500 rpm more make a guess

mate whats the point in reving that high u do no u will be doing more damage than u think.

If you want a car that revs high then get a vtec engine

like a honda, for best results keep about 4-5 k revs, any more and u knacker the engine and the rev limiter kicks in and you loose power
