what is this sorcery?

better design than the standard shit retaining bar clip that came out of mine the other day causing me to loose a pad.

sorry to interject again but that kit contains 4 spring clips and by the looks of your photo you dont have them fitted?
that bar I reckon should be at the bottom with the bigger spring clips up at the top on the pads - at least thats the setup on my clio and saxo

That all looks wrong to me. No anti rattle springs on that are shown as included in the kit, and the bar goes in at the bottom I believe. This pic shows it better:

Appears I can't edit my posts yet... Have you checked the NS caliper to see how that's all put together?

Well... I'm sure I read somewhere that the 2 I've used are the ones for a saxo.

I didn't know what the other 4 were for... I've never seen anti rattle springs on one before but I'll investigate now.

The bar is on the bottom of the passenger side like yours but on the top on the drivers side. Guessing that's because it's the same calliper just upside down on one side.

Thanks for the photo though dude!

I'll see if I can get the anti rattle springs on like you've done

its not right if the pic is the right way up for a rear caliper, bar is meant to be on the trailing end of the pad not leading, like gandi said.

The bar should be on the bottom on both sides. The caliper isn't upside down on one side, it's just a mirror image. The two springs you've used are most likely correct for the bar, it's just in the wrong place.

You need the anti rattle springs on as well really as they help to hold it in place and reduce rattle obviously. Might be worth posting another pic when you're done so people can check it over for you.
