Tbh they all have good Acceleration and handling (not sure on the mpg) but imo out of all of them the 106 gti (120hp) is quicker of the line up to around 100 and then the 1.6 civic (160) will probably be abit quicker

but i also believe that the 106 has better mpg compared to the civic

Boots are getting grown out of at a rapid rate with some people. Only Saxo I've seen getting north of 50mpg was a diesel, a VTS averaging 66mpg is astonishing- and I daresay misquoted as there's no way you can get that mpg.

Topping up with £40 to go somewhere is a different thing all together to only using £40 worth of petrol.

dondan

Even if the fuel was under £1.32 which is as cheap as its been in a long while that still works out at 60mpg+, which just doesn't happen in a 16v 1.6 engine with a 5 speed box.

Because you started with a full tank.

Then claim you did 420 miles with £40 of fuel.

If the tank was empty and you put £40 in.. and got there and back then yes you did 420 miles with £40.

Or if it was brimmed.. then you did the 420 miles then got home and brimmed it again/ Then yes you got there and back with £40.
