Hawk remote locking

Does the ign power lead need connecting? From the how to on here it isn't 100% obvious and after searching I've not found out fully either...

At the moment the system is working the indicators but not the locking mech??!!

Any help would be great...

the ignition feed is there really to tell an alarm that the enngine is runing so not to arm the alarm. if it is just a cdl kit you are fitting then no it doesnt matter. as for not locking double check the connections.
