My saxo has a torsion bar for the rear suspension, I've brought a lowering kit for it but I don't know what I have to do to lower the rear or will it just lower it self ????

You will need it lowering mate. You can have a go yourself but I would advise some one who knows how to do it.
Have a search on here for lowering in your area and if that fails put a post in your regional section of the forums:y:

Don't do it by clicks you will fuck it up. You need to remove the torsion bars both sides then jack the trailing arms up by the amount +5mm you are wanting to lower by. Then refit.

No such thing as a seized torsion bar they all come out. It's just knowing the way to get them out.

google 'badgermotorsport lowering' or 'suzukituning lowering' for guides
dont do it by clicks/notches/splines, is inaccurate and can goose your beam for you

We have lowered many cars and never failed as such....
We have denied lOwering a car before as the rear beam was shafted! So recommended he get us to refurbish a beam for him and when we fit it we would lower it for free :)
