Problem after fitting new stereo

I fitted my stereo from my old saxo to my new one works all fine, had to swap red and yellow wires to get my memory but not when I turn my side lights on it blows the fuse and cuts the dash lights too, it was all fine in the previous saxo, anyone had this?

Sure you swapped the right wires and that nothing is shorting anywhere?

There is a live feed for illumination which would activate when you flick your sidelights on, potential to be shorting here

Hi thanks for that diagram, it did some trial and error earlier and for some reason a2 and a4 needed swapping! Bit strange
