Mochachino

Has any one recently bought any clothes or anything from America around the £100 region? How much duties should I expect to pay when it arrives?
Thanks.

Not bad not bad. Might actually be worth ordering clothes from America now by how cheap they are.

It's odd I seem to buy all my jeans from the uk, USA charges too much shipping to here.

Karmaloop charge £8 on their standard rate, or £14 for business postage which is 4 days quicker. they have a discount code at the moment for cheaper postage so I got business postage for £8.

Ive always liked all the stuff they have on Karmaloop, very popular with music artists and celebs in America too. Ive always been put off by duties and VAT though.
I ordered from these shops last night:
Karmaloop
Yukka
Chemical Records
5 Pointz
Brands 501

it pays to put a huge order in, I've used jays for years, £10 for a pair of mecca jeans instead of £85 in Maverick in Newcastle
win!

Got the Vaiders, do like the Sky Tops too, but the Vaiders look abit more simplistic. I was considering some Jordans too, but the only ones I like are the womens Jordan 5 Retros lol

Exactly! so cheap! haha Im considering buying a few bits and slapping them on eBay. The crooks & Castles air gun range has been available in America for over a year now but its only just appeared here in England. Maybe the odd shop selling limited amounts since last year but no constant supply. On eBay the air gun sweaters sell for over £100 on auction with plenty of bids, in America theyre £60 lol

I prefer tees with a design on not a huge logo or huge full logo. Just a normal size one really.
You need to start shopping at Burtons and Next mate, Matalan when you want something abit more in your face then :p

Where did you order from in the end?
Also if delivery was with fedex (and possibly other couriers), the fees may be requested in up to 2/3 weeks time.

Was with DHL. Ordered from Karma loop.
My mate has ordered stuff from America of a higher value and the duty and vat are demanded at the courier office place or on delivery.

Aus is great no tax or import on anything under $1000
Do need to find some new jeans, my nudies have started to get holes in, which isn't bad considering they were worn nearly every day for 18 months, and my a.p.c ones are very stiff still. Trying to find some momotaro jeans at a reasonable price.

Looking at buying a few tees from the US. Only like $50 worth, just wondering if anything has changed import charge wise since this thread?
