i have a saxo forte, i want the front grill meshed, but to unlock my bonet, i have to pull a catch in the passanger footwell, and then a leaver in the bonet by putting my hand through one of the gaps. can i still mesh it and can i take off the latch under the bonet!

Most people cut a little hole for your fingers on the MK2's mate. Then a little strip of rubber is usually put around the sharp bits so you dont cut your finger and get aids. You and your mesh eh lol

Not without making some kinda different popper mechanism i dont think? Shame its a MK2 really, on the MK1 it doesnt matter if you mesh it. I was going to do it on mine but every sax in my area with the VT kit seems to have it done, stock looks more unusual lol.
The little hole doesn't really notice that much btw, you only have to make enough room for a finger or two to fit through.

I cut out my slats with a jigsaw, i havnt cut a hole for the bonnet catch just leave a small screw driver in your car and flip it up through the mesh. Didnt want to cut the mesh which i spent hours doing lol. I sealed the mesh in with some fixing mould. Check out my pics in the picture section named progress pics :-)
