Never looked after my body in my teens.. Shit food and boozing every weekend which now i regret.

5ft 10 i was kicking around 15 stone.

Now in my 20's ive dropped myself down to 11.5 stone and my arms legs face etc all suit but i have the classic fat over the stomach area. Rest of me seems to be in good shape.

To shift this is it me having to drop even further? I like to still have a bit of weight on me i just dont like that very skinny look. Also i dont want that drawn in look.

If you lose the weight can you gain some fat without the stomach area taking most of the gain?

Just feel that if i work my stomach i wont have anything to show for it.

Cheers

First place you gain in the last place you lose. So yes, you need to lose it all to get shot of it.

Go on a cut, drop ALL your fat, then bulk from there. Clean bulk.

situps will if anything make it worse as you will simply build muscle.

you need to lower the fat levels and nothing else, train too hard and you'll just build muscle strength.

Cardio strips the fat of you. Do HIIT training . Hill sprints are good too.

Sounds like your the same as me!

5.10" was 18, not 11.7

Only noticed my gut drop off in the passed few months, still got abit to go, just keep at it.

As long as you've got a decent diet, on a calorie deficit and doing some form of exercise it'll go! :)

"cardio" uses energy in an efficient way. It will not strip fat.

To help reduce abdominal fat around the belly, this is a cortisol receptor site and fat here is also seen to be linked with diabetes etc, you need to reduce stress, stress = cortisol = abdominal fat.... sleep more, drink only water, eat fresh foods, and start a basic stretching programme, 4 times for 30 minutes, that will then lead onto a more functional weight based programme. the eating clean and exercising will help cleanse your digestive systems this will mean internally your body is healthier and not having a stress response to toxic non foods hindering your fat loss. Your digestive system uses a lot of energy so keep this system healthy at all costs.... :y:

muscle under fat just makes you look fat..

Find an exercise you enjoy doing and can do regularly. This will make a big difference. Your body will burn fat where ever it can find it so you do not have to target certain areas, just get your body using more fat than your intake...
