Had this irritating problem for ages now, getting really fed up as each time its in the garage to fix this supposed problem its not going away and now in fact after the last time its getting worse.

So basically I hear this knock/loud pop type noise from the drivers side when I've been hard lock turning. Got told I needed the wishbones done so I got them both replaced. Didn't fix the noise, so then it was the driveshafts. Got them both done and at the same time I was returning the ride height back to normal so got new springs put on too, also replacing the strut tops. Noise didnt go away but aswell as this knock/pop I have weird steering when I go over uneven ground. Feels like its on rails and it flies off to a side. So apparently its the drop links? OK sure, bought two of those and had them put on and hey ho the noise isnt fixed, nor is the steering. Instead the noise is worse I hear it turning every corner (left and right) a decent bump and I hear it too. I also feel it under my feet, clutch area.

Im at my wits end really and so tired throwing money at this thing.

Are there any leaks in the power steering & what condition are the track rods in?Thats all I can think of as you`ve replaced most things.

have you tried jacking the car up and turning the wheel left to right to see if you can hear it and find where its coming from?

No, I can admit to being really shite with anything like that. I don't own a jack so quite reliant on taking the word of a garage with regards to the car.

So it's narrowing down to check out the power steering and the track rods?
